Albert Hammond, Jr. to release second solo album

ALBERT HAMMOND, JR.
¿Cómo Te Llama?
SOPHOMORE SOLO RECORD OUT JULY 8

¿Cómo Te Llama? is the new album from Albert Hammond, Jr. and cohorts Matt Romano, Marc Philippe Eskenazi and Josh Lattanzi, and will be released July 8th.

Following his feted 2007 solo debut Yours To Keep, Albert Hammond, Jr. and his merry men return with a new album ¿Cómo Te Llama? (or "What's Your Name?" if your Spanish is a little rusty). The title, rung out of casual conversation between Albert and Matt over some vino tinto, hints at the classic, summery music held within.

The record was recorded over 5 weeks at Electric Lady Studios and produced by Albert along with engineer Gus Oberg and drummer Romano. "I'm really proud of the power this record has," says Albert. "I feel like my melodies and song arrangements have matured. Lyrically, I tried to have the words flow out more freely and not try to write one song but many. I would just sing and sing and then arrange the words afterwards."

From the heavy riffage of "The Boss Americana", the woozy charm of lilting instrumental "Spooky Couch" to the bright, reggae-bounce of "Borrowed Time", it's clear that ¿Cómo Te Llama? is perhaps the boldest, most eclectic and ambitious record of Albert's career. "My favorite songs would be 'Borrowed Time', 'Victory At Monterey' and 'You Won't Be Fooled By This'" says Albert. "I love the whole record, but they change day by day, it's like deciding what you want to eat." "GfC" will be the first single from the album.

Musically, Albert's band played a much greater role in the creative process of the new record as he explains; "Every one of the band members brought his or her personality to the music. Even if they played a part I had written they made it their own, I'd get it back and arrange all these new ideas into a better song then we had before. Marc represents youth and curiosity. Josh represents age and wisdom and Matt is the best friend that helps me communicate the rhythm of the music. He's the spark. I love sharing my music with these tasty motherfuckers!"

Additional personnel were added to the record in the form of Sean Lennon's piano on "Spooky Couch" and the string quartet of Earl Maneein (violin), Matt Szemela (violin), Jon Weber (viola) and Jessie Reagen (cello) on multiple tracks. Also, the shadows of The Kinks, The Clash and Crazy Horse-era Neil Young were cast over Albert's songwriting on the record; "Not so much that the album sounds like any of those bands, its just they gave me a new way to express my songwriting."

With a tour penciled for summer, the band are in exuberant spirits, as Albert reveals; "Our goal is to tour this album every where we can, get into those cracks and fill them up with music!"

Up until now, Twenty-four year-old Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson has been Brooklyn’s best-kept secret, but with the help of Kyp Malone (TVOTR), Chris Taylor & Christopher Bear (Grizzly Bear) and Say Hey Records, we are proud to introduce this stunning debut artist. In a recent interview with Another magazine Kyp Malone professed, "Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson is my favorite songwriter right now." Miles’ brief yet inspirational life story already contains enough Gump-esque moments of cultural serendipity to make it a shoe in for a 2025 behind the music segment, if not a full blown overly- sentimental nostalgia piece about coming of age in downtown Manhattan and Williamsburg in the first decade of the millenium.

The eponymous long player to be issued by Say Hey Records is the first recorded document after years of false starts, self-sabotage , and amiable persistence in the face tragedy. Born in Oregon and raised in Portland and Eugene, Miles spent much of his youth on the road traveling with his comedian father as he played venues across the U.S. After completing high school, Miles gravitated eastward and was in New York by 2000. Immediately he immersed himself in the burgeoning music scene; going to shows and eventually forming a few bands. Miles recorded no less than 5 albums in various early projects like Jackson Plastic, Mud Cub, and Jesus Jackson but sadly ("fortunately" according to miles ) they never glimpsed the light of day.

Each incarnation met it’s demise from a combination of erratic behavior, venue banishment, and indiscreet drug use. Frustrated and fatigued, Miles descended further into addiction, leading to a stint in which he made his bed on the benches of Coney Island. But, throughout it all, Miles continued to distill from his shabby surroundings the inspiration and imagery that make up his debut record.

Recorded with the aid of Chris Taylor and Christopher Bear of Grizzly bear “Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson” (MBAR) began in 2006 in Miles’ apartment. Chris Bear did the drums in a single day and the basics were mixed immediately after the completion of Yellow House; later overdubs were added by Kyp Malone and Daniel Rosen (Grizzly Bear), and the record neared completion.

The album begins with the demented campfire sing-a-long, “Buriedfed”, a dirge disguised as a rave up, and it sets the pace for an album filled with unrepentant confessions played with abandon. MBAR takes the listener through a flawless sardonic narrative, detailing loss, excess, and blurred memories, all the while with an irresistible humor.

Look out for the MBAR sophomore LP in 2009, produced by Kyp Malone.

The Jealous Girlfriends To Release Debut Video for “How Now”

Billboard "...the Jealous Girlfriends have honed and refined their raw craft, a Spoon-like modern twist on guitar rock"

New York Times : "The Jealous Girlfriends, one of the best new bands in New York, float through soft and erotic clouds of guitar and keyboards that can turn grungy and turbulent"

The Jealous Girlfriends make it work. The Brooklyn four-piece pull together the tunefulness of Anglo New Wave and BritPop, the aggression and energy of Washingtonian indie rock – both district and state - and infuse it all with a little soul, working an alchemy that transforms these base musical elements into songs crackling with tension and excitement that are instantly memorable while revealing something new with every listen.

Overtop a rhythmic foundation laid down by drummer Michael Fadem, Josh Abbott and Holly Miranda's buzzsaw guitars carom and careen against Alex Lipsen's square wave synths as their voices duet and duel overtop in tones that are playful and plaintive, menacing and mesmerizing. It's this potent lineup that has crafted their eponymous album following a 2005 debut EP featuring only Miranda and Lipsen.

The Jealous Girlfriends have already achieved a tremendous amount for a wholly independent band, earning that blessing and curse of being one of the best-kept secrets in independent music. Now signed to Good Fences Records, they're set to be unleashed upon an unsuspecting world.

Armed with hooks, barbs, and velvet-lined bludgeons, The Jealous Girlfriends – the album – makes a striking statement that reveals The Jealous Girlfriends – the band - as an outfit that bends and pushes against the boundaries of rock music not so much with the intent to break them, but simply to see what kind of shapes they can make.

Download and Share “Sweat Descends” From After The Balls Drop

This weekend, Les Savy Fav invaded Indio, California to perform alongside Portishead, The Racounters, The Breeders, and pretty much every other indie rock band known to man. As usual, the wild ‘n sweaty antics of shirtless leadsinger Tim Harrington won accolades (NME, Wired, Stereogum, Billboard) from anyone within eyeshot, and convinced the folks at Billboard to call the band’s performance Friday’s “most entertaining set.” Duh. Of course, most of us weren’t able to make the desert trek to watch guitarists Seth Jabour and Andrew Reuland, drummer Harrison Haynes, and bassist Syd Butler tear through renditions of “The Equestrian” and “Sweat Descends” while Tim called the scorching sun a “puss bag.”

But no big deal, right? Because today, Tuesday, April 29th, Les Savy Fav releases After The Balls Drop, the first ever live album from a band that built a decade-spanning career on the strength of its batshit-crazy stage presence. Documenting the Fav’s January 1st performance at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom, only moments after the entire room rang in 2008, the record includes a ton of classics and a suitably cheery encore filled with a handful of cover songs from Nirvana, Love, Pixies, Misfits, and Creedence Clearwater Revival. You can read a bit about the performance (and the AC/DC track that didn’t make the record) at Rollingstone.com or stream the album in full over at AOL Spinner.

Of course, Harrington and company will be keeping fairly busy throughout the summer, too, playing a few shows in the UK this May, including a set at ATP vs. Pitchfork Festival in Camber on the 10th. Then they’ll head back to the states forNew York Mag’s indie rock trivia night (yay, Zach Galifianakis trading barbs with Tim Harrington!) at Highline on the 21st. After that, there’s a stop at Pitchfork Festival in Chicago on July 20th, and at Capitol Hill Black Party in Seattle on July 25th, before the Great White North gets its taste on the 26th with a show at Commodore Ballroom.

More about Tab the Band's Long Weekend

Their sophomore release retains the same rough and tumble nature of the first one. It sounds like a real band using real instruments recorded in an organic way. On this second release, the guys stretched the spectrum, some songs heavier and some more poppy.

The album's theme is about a girl living in the ritzy outskirts of a big city, messing around with her absentee parents' rich friends, taking trips to the city on her own and living dangerously. The songs take on the perspectives of her, her middle-aged wealthy suitors, and the 'good guy' at her school who laments over her dalliances. Ultimately, it doesn't work out and she finds herself, once again, in the hands of another ne'er-do-well mid-life crisis fellow.

Recorded at the Boneyard in Duxbury, MA , Long Weekend was written, recorded, produced and engineered by brothers Adrian and Tony Perry. The boys also helped mix the album with Kevin Ennis (who also mixed "Pulling Out Just Enough To Win").

Sophomore LP Out June 17th On Absolutely Kosher Records /Recorded By Engineer John Congleton (Explosions In The Sky/Mountain Goats)

Chicago Sun Times (Jim Derogatis): “The group decorates its anthemic, radio-ready choruses with a driving groove and plenty of swirling, atmospheric guitar noise resonant of the best of the shoegazers or Smashing Pumpkins, while generally avoiding any “woe-is-me” self-obsession.”

Pitchfork Media Previews Debut Single “Oh Man!”: “At a time when indie music seems unduly concerned with thwarting expectations, there's something to be said for a song that keeps the promises it makes.”

Spin.com : “There's no such thing as too much reverb for Chicago's Sybris”

Chicago’s Sybris is a quartet of powerful grace, the sound of a battalion of Valkyries astride winged horses bound for Valhalla. The sweep of giant white wings in the wind, the creak of the saddle beneath the weight of warrior goddesses in full regalia, the dreamy, gauzy, glittery haze of the ghosts of the warrior dead behind them floating towards eternal glory. I mean, um, it’s not metal. Rock has got to reclaim all the cool Viking shit from metal. But Chicago winters can be as extreme as those in Nordic lands and Sybris carries all of that on their latest album, Into the Trees. Propelled forward by singer Angela Mullenhour's sugar coated knife-edge voice, a unique entity in itself, brimming with shattering potential and weighted with its own world-weariness, elegant, bruised but never defeated. In fact, the whole outfit is tough as shit, Chicago in a way nobody’s seen for awhile.

Into the Trees is the band’s second album, recorded with Grammy-nominated engineer John Congleton (Explosions in the Sky, Mountain Goats) in the backwoods of Minnesota at Pachyderm Studio. The supposedly haunted studio is the same one used to record Nirvana's In Utero and P J Harvey's Rid of Me. The album is also their first with new label Absolutely Kosher Records, following a 2003 self-released EP, A Time for Hollerin and their 2005 self-titled label debut on Flameshovel. Into the Trees explores themes of perception, relationships, and decay with a salt of the earth perspective that flows through the band both in demeanor, sound and appearance.

Sybris has spent the last three years bubbling under, touring with the likes of The Fiery Furnaces, The Walkmen and The Hold Steady as well as dates at Lollapalooza and Virgin Fest. An early posting of one of the album's songs, “Oh Man!”, received impressive reviews and prompted Pitchfork's Brian Howe to write the following: "they haven't tinkered with their style-- "Oh Man!" is of a piece with Sybris's "The Best Day in History Ever", from the blocky yet aerodynamic drums to the nervously chiming guitar lead. This is a good thing, since the band's anthemic indie rock was refreshing precisely for its unabashed classicism."

Robin McKelle is a jazz singer who brings new life to some old standards.

Robin McKelle is a jazz singer who brings new life to some old standards. Inspired by the likes of Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra, this jazz singer sounds mature beyond her 30 years.

She comes out swinging on her second disc of big band jazz, Modern Antique with an approach that is just this side of naughty

The Boston bred singer has created a stylistically ambitious follow-up to her debut while still managing to evoke and honor the forties big-band sound she explored on the remarkable Introducing Robin McKelle.

Listen to Abracadabra

Listen to Go To Hell

The horn section enters first, as luxuriously cosmopolitan-sounding as the tuxedo-clad players from a black-and-white movie classic, and sets a lively pace before McKelle herself steps up to the mike. She delivers the playfully flirtatious lyrics, scatting confidently over the melody. The entire combo is having so much fun - and so are you - that the tune is almost over before you realize it's an ingenious re-arrangement of Steve Miller's seventies classic, "Abracadabra."

That opening gambit sets the tone for everything that follows: There are more rhythm and blues touches, revealing McKelle's torchy side, and she concludes the album with a self-penned ballad ("Remember") that fits in comfortably with the American Songbook gems that precede it. Modern Antique will impress the ever-growing audience who've already discovered McKelle -- via National Public Radio, her glowing press notices, or good old word of mouth -- and it should attract the even wider audience in the U.S. she clearly deserves. The Europeans are way ahead of us when it comes to McKelle; she's already a vocal jazz star in France.

The adventurous spirit McKelle brings to Modern Antique has distinguished her career from the start. For her debut disc, the Boston-based singer had such conviction about the jazz record she wanted to make that she was willing to risk her own finances to record it - no small feat, given the arrangements that needed to be commissioned, the top-notch players to be hired. Arranger-producer-trumpeter Willie Murillo (Brian Setzer Orchestra, Aimee Mann) shared her vision. Together they fashioned an album that balanced period authenticity with the present-tense thrill of hearing an artist eager to put her own stamp on songs like "Something's Got To Give" and "Night & Day."

On Modern Antique, McKelle - who's taught voice at her alma mater, Berklee, and sung with the Boston Pops -- allows herself more room to stretch artistically and "put more of my personality and my own touch on it." McKelle especially helped to shape smoldering ballads like "Save Your Love For Me," which boasts a sumptuous string arrangement, and the urbanely sexy "Lover Man."

As for that unlikely but utterly convincing cover of Steve Miller, it serendipitously fell into McKelle's lap as she was driving. McKelle says, "I was coming home from a gig one night, I heard that song, and the idea popped into my head. I turned up the radio and thought, this could be great as a swing tune. I called Willie right away. The thing is, I mostly never listen to the radio in the car, and if I do, it's usually talk radio."

PRESS FLIP for TIGRA:

LA Times:
"The dance-party electro amalgamation is all about bass."

URB
“Lady Tigra delivers with a product that’s incredibly fresh without ignoring her roots.”

NY Times:
“Since the time seems ripe for underground, unquantifiable female M.C.’s, the Lady Tigra is hoping that pioneers will have a place too....Tigra’s aesthetic hasn’t changed much since the ‘80s. She raps in the same honeyed, high-pitched tone, and there are beefy low-end clicks, handclaps and electro synthesizers, all hallmarks of classic Miami bass music. But contrary to much music of that genre, there is little overt sex; she prefers coy comebacks.”

The Lady Tigra is one half of the Miami bass duo L’Trimm, one of hip-hop’s earliest, sassiest, and most influential female duos. The girls busted out of the Miami bass movement and are best known for the deliriously catchy track, “Cars That Go Boom”, an ode to subwoofers. So it’s no surprise that her latest is another ode to the bottom end.

Signed to High Score records in 2006, her new album, Please Mr Boom Box, is a vivid mashing of styles that helped pioneer her career... a total continuation of the bouncy, infections confections she is known for. On her new album, the Lady Tigra instictively brings a cultural hybrid of sonic motifs and collaborated with long time hero MC Lytle. The result, Please Mr Boom Box, showcases her cool as a cucumber, deadpan flow which is brilliantly layered over minimal old-school production.

Visiter, by San Francisco band The Dodos, is their second full length and first for Frenchkiss. Originally formed in 2006 under the moniker Dodobird as a one man acoustic act, Meric Long would gig around SF playing folky guitar with a combination of loops and ambient keyboards. Having already studied West African Ewe drumming, Meric got turned onto country blues fingerpicking and sought to create a band where the drumming could be a center role and help bring out the syncopated rhythms coming out of the acoustic guitar. Through a chance introduction by a roommate, Meric met Santa Cruz transplant Logan Kroeber, who had also been experimenting with drumming, but in the area of progressive metal. Eventually the band changed their name to the Dodos, through constant harrowing from first tourmates Peter and the Wolf, and got a rehearsal studio where they'd spend long hours improvising the music that would become their first record& nbsp; Beware of the Maniacs. The band quit their day jobs as a line cook and a printer and hit the road in Oct. 2006.

The Dodos' principal concept behind Visiter was to reconnect with the energy and intensity of their live show. They decided to return to Type Foundry Studio where Beware of the Maniacs had been recorded. With producer/engineer John Askew back at the helm, they began expounding upon what they had learned since the previous record. The basic drum and guitar takes were recorded live simultaneously with very minimal post production. Type Foundry's warehouse-sized live room led to experimentation with mic placement, capturing a variety of ambient & natural sounds. At one point during tracking, the audible din of a thunderstorm inspired an impromptu horn session between Meric and guest trumpeter, Cory Gray. A small section of this can be heard between the songs "Fools" and "Joe's Waltz" on the record.

Visiter was completely written while on the road from the fall of 2006 to the summer of 2007.

The name of the record came from a drawing a kid did for them when they played for his special education class at Dorsey High in South Central on a road trip down to LA. With all of their time being spent on the road, Meric's lyrics drew heavily from his experiences while touring. They would come home for days at a time, and then leave for a month, always coming and going, which pretty much shaped every relationship the band had during that year.

The Dodos toured in 2007 with Les Savy Fav, Akron/Family, Jennifer Gentle, Wovenhand and Peter and the Wolf. 2008 will bring even more touring for them with stops at the Noise Pop, SXSW and Culture Shock festivals.

Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson & White Rabbits Announce US May Tour

Self Titled Debut Record Out July 1 Out On Say Hey Records! Recorded by Chris Taylor (Grizzly Bear) and Featuring Chris Bear & Daniel Rosen (Grizzly Bear) and Kyp Malone (TVOTR)

Pitchfork Media “Forkcast” Debuts “BuriedFed” : “ The album's first single, "Buriedfed", lives up to those impressive connections, pouring a woodsy, deceptively upbeat folk song through the damp, woozy atmospherics of Horn of Plenty. The proper setting could be a rowdy bar as easily as that record's quiet bedroom.”

Time Out New York : “ Local singer-songwriter Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson, whose sidemen have included members of Grizzly Bear and TV on the Radio, plays garagey pop with winning psych-era melodies.”

Look out for the MBAR sophomore LP in 2009, produced by Kyp Malon

SAM CHAMPION To Record Live Album At Their Sold Out Show At Mercury Lounge

SAM CHAMPION To Record Live Album At Their Sold Out Show At Mercury Lounge On Wednesday April 23rd, 9 PM With The Virgins! Look Out For Debut Single “Be Mine Everyone” Out May 1st! Sophomore LP HEAVENLY BENDER Out This July On North Street Records!

SAM CHAMPION EP Out Now Click Here!

Can you see the stars where you are? We can't see 'em in New York. Let me tell you this is a damn good rock band at the height of their Byzantine powers. Jack Dolgen's bass rumbles and bounces like it should. Sean Bones' guitar can't miss a note, except, of course when that note is supposed to be missed. And you can hear those pounding drums. And on top of it all, Noah Chernin's plainspeaking about the old tropes that never get old: relationships, mortality, the human spirit, and hard work.

And good old hard work is how Sam Champion has got where they are. It's not an easy game in New York. Rents are pricey and bands are a buck a minute and pizza ovens tend to catch on fire. (More on that later.)

Sam Champion, or the Champ, as we like to call em, hustled onto tours with the Hold Steady, Cold War Kids, Rogue Wave, Apollo Sunshine, the Slip, and Two Gallants. They've gone to England and returned victorious and not a little Victorian and praised by the Guardian. They've killed it at Bonnaroo 2007. The music blogs caught on, premiered the new stuff: VBS.TV http://VBS.TV, Brooklyn Vegan, Gorilla vs. Bear, Stereogum.

It's a nice list of accomplishments, surely, for sure, to be sure. But this record that you're hearing "Heavenly Bender" has been four years in the making. During this godblessed time the Champ went from wearing their influences— Tom Petty, Booker T & The MG's, and Crazy Horse —on their sleeves to amalgamating all those old good songs into something great and new.

Spin.com : "While his guitar style is firmly rooted in garage rock, Chernin's sharp lyrics separate Sam Champion from the rest of the Lower East Side pack.

Rolling Stone : "one of the most buzzworthy releases of 2007"

RCRD LBL posts exclusive download from the CoCo B’s self titled debut

In between the quiet suburban landscapes of track homes, mini-malls and the mean streets of Southern California, you'll find the CoCo B's. With the seal of approval by early bloggers and music writers alike - the CoCo B's blend a barrage of distorted guitars and foot stomping beats with unforgettable melodies. The CoCo B's put out a self released EP last year and most recently a split CD with neighbors Eskimohunter. Coco B's self-titled debut album is a collection of catchy fuzz-pop anthems .

"... In thrall to the likes of The Replacements, The Lemonheads, The Byrds and even Dylan. Man, we love that shit. Why? Because there's only a few months 'til summer. That means a lot time smoking spliffs in parks, and thanks to this, there's more material for our "Now That's What I Call Smoking Spliffs in Parks" cassette mix........ the likes of "Daytrader" and "Hot Pantz" are perfect slices of dashing, adorable indie pop. Skin up, then......." - NME

Les Savy Fav’s After The Balls Drop Out April 29th (Digital Release Only) Cover Superchunk, Offer Up Non-Album Live Tracks!

Confirm Performances at Capitol Hill Block Party, Pitchfork Festival & NYC’s Highline Ballroom

Syd Butler Becomes Celebrity Blogger For The Washington Capitals : http://fans.nhl.com/Syd_Butler

By now you’ve heard the news: the best live band in indie rock is releasing its first ever live album on Tuesday, April 29th. Arriving on the heels of last year’s universally-adored Let’s Stay Friends, the digital-only After The Balls Drop documents Les Savy Fav’s 2008 New Years performance at Bowery Ballroom in NYC, a show that capped off a wildly successful year with an hour of insanity, serious celebration, and covers of classics from CCR, Nirvana, Misfits, Pixies and Love. So, to get fans ready for the record’s m.o., the Brooklyn smart-punks have unleashed a handful of live tracks and a cover CLICK HERE TO HEAR pulled from the LSF vaults -- a rendition of Superchunk’s “Precision Auto” from the band’s City Sol performance last year, and three Fav oldies (“Disco Drive” and “Reprobates Resume” from Go Forth and “In These Woods” from Rome (Written Upside Down)) taken from a 2005 performance in Atlanta.

Speaking of live performances, a monstrous Fav-in-Berlin show is now streaming in its entirety on Slyfi CLICK HERE TO HEAR (yes, Tim breaks out the singing in the eagle mask trick!), and the band recently picked their 5 Favorite Live Albums (Possible) http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=music for Myspace. Meanwhile, Harrington and company have lined up a few dates for the approaching summer. Next weekend, the band hits the desert for a Coachella set, before heading to San Fran to play the Great American Music Hall with labelmates The Dodos. May and June are mostly quiet —save for a lone NY performance— before things pick up in July with appearances at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago and the Capitol Hill Block Party in Seattle.

Soulfly Ready to Realese a New Album, Conquer

The Soulfly tribe returns, armed and ready for battle with the skull- clobbering new metal masterwork dubbed simply Conquer.

The album will see release on July 29.
Featuring the same line up from 2005's Dark Ages –vocalist/guitarist Max Cavalera, guitarist Mark Rizzo, bassist Bobby Burns and drummer Joe Nunez- Soulfly are one the premiere bands that helped revive the genre in the late ‘90s and through the new millennium, thanks to the way they force metal, world music and Brazilian culture to collide and subsequently explode on your speakers!

Cavalera, who spent his formative years changing the heavy metal landscape with the groundbreaking Brazilian metal legends known collectively as Sepultura and who recently reunited with his brother (and former Sepultura bandmate) Iggor for The Cavalera Conspiracy side project, is primed and ready to go with Conquer.

About Conquer, Cavalera cryptically says, referencing key album titles from his illustrious career that spans Sepultura, Nailbomb and Soulfly, “From the beginning of this Devastation, from Visions of Schizophrenia and battles Beneath The Remains to Arise in this Chaos A.D. From Point Blank executions to trying to find the Roots of your soul. From Primitive ways to Trinity, from Prophecies to Dark Ages Inflikting the world with Metal. The mission continues, stronger than ever. Conquer your fear and you’ll conquer life and death.”

Conquer is Soulfly’s sixth album and it continues the Soulfly sonic assault of stormy, thrashy guitar riffs, thunderous, tribal-influenced percussion and an infusion of atypical, world music conventions that Cavalera has built his hard-earned reputation on.

The track listing for Conquer is as follows. In the time-honored Soulfly tradition, the album concludes with a self-titled track.

Blood Fire War Hate”
“Unleash”

“Paranoia”
“Warmageddon”

“Enemy Ghost”

“Rough”

“Fall Of The Sycophants"

“Doom

“Rot”

“Touching The Void”

“Soulfly VI”
