Dirty On Purpose Get US National Virgin Mobile TV Spot

“Audience In The Room” Featured In Debut TV Campaign, Like Bees EP Out Now On North Street Records!

Dirty on Purpose's single, "Audience in the Room," from their Like Bees EP is currently featured in the latest hip, national commercial campaign for Virgin Mobile USA.

The song is featured in the "Dusk Owls" spot, which shows a handful of people at dusk talking and typing on their cell phones; with voice over noting that Virgin Mobile customers can start their nights early with unlimited 7 p.m. nights and weekends.

This is the first TV commercial placement for these long-time indie darlings, which is a result of their successful licensing relationship with Downtown Music Publishing. "Dirty on Purpose write beautiful songs and have a powerful delivery," said Jedd Katrancha, Senior Director of Creative Services at Downtown Publishing. "Marrying their music to picture is a very natural thing."

"Virgin Mobile has always been recognized for the innovative ways it communicates with its customers," said Naomi Newman, a broadcast producer at the ad agency McKinney which helped place the song. "Partnering with exciting new artists is exactly the way they'd want to launch their newest plans."
