PLEASE DOWNLOAD TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

This Thanksgiving Cheap Lullaby Records and AmieStreet.com Team up to raise money for New Yorkers in need!

Cheap Lullaby Records and AmieStreet.com announced today a charity music campaign to raise money for the Food Bank For New York City and its Thanksgiving outreach.

The charity drive will give The Food Bank For New York City some extra help in time for the holiday, and enables fans to help New Yorkers in need while getting some great new music.

For the week leading up to Thanksgiving (Nov 18 – 25), the entire Cheap Lullaby Records catalog, including the highly-anticipated new release from indie super-group Gramercy Arms, will be available for download as part of AmieStreet.com's Download to Make a Difference Campaign.

When fans go to
http://amiestreet.com/blog/cheaplullaby and buy music from Cheap Lullaby artists at their regular prices, Amie Street will make a donation equal to 50% of sales to the Food Bank For New York City.

The campaign kicks off with the new release from Gramercy Arms, a new indie super-group comprised of members of Guided By Voices, The Damnbuilders, Luna, and Joan As Policewoman. Their self-titled debut album features such notable guests as Joan Wasser herself, Matthew Caws from Nada Surf, and comedian Sarah Silverman.

Food Bank For New York City
For 25 years Food Bank For New York City has been the city's major provider of food to New Yorkers in need. The organization works to end food poverty and increase access to affordable, nutritious food for low-income New Yorkers through a range of programs and services that focus on food sourcing and distribution, education and nutrition, financial empowerment, disaster relief, policy and research. Food Bank For New York City sources and then distributes food to more than 1,000 emergency and community food programs, assisting the approximately 1.3 million New Yorkers who access emergency food. For every dollar donated to the Food Bank, 96 cents goes toward food acquisition, distribution and programs. For additional information, visit
