Established in 2006,
Anova Music is one of the leading music companies in Israel, representing a wide variety of top Israeli independent artists in the local and international market. Anova is comprised of a record label, recording studio, and publishing and marketing divisions. They remain committed to releasing quality music and fostering creativity in their artists.

Psychedelic rockers Izabo released their debut album, The Fun Makers, in 2003 and have never looked back. The album cemented the band as one of the most successful alternative pop bands in Israel. After signing with Sony BMG, Izabo took their sound to the UK and across Europe with The Morning Hero EP. Since 2006, relentless touring and a string of festival dates was followed by their second album, Superlight, being released in Israel and France to rave reviews. In March 2010, a wildly innovative video featuring the iPhone started making the rounds on the internet. It was for Izabo’s single “On My Way.” The video features quirky apps and the band “singing” the song with their iPhones. Technology at its finest. Izabo recently played to a packed house at CMJ 2010, gracing the crowd with their ultra-high vocals, Arab-flavored guitar work, powerfully funky bass lines and disco beats. The crowd was definitely left wanting more, and they’ll get it in 2011 when Izabo invades the US.

Eatliz, an internationally acclaimed band from Tel Aviv, has been building a strong cult following since forming nine years ago. The band has described their music as “complicated pop” featuring elements ranging from soft pop and hard rock to Middle Eastern music. The result is a sound that calls to mind artists like Mr. Bungle, Björk and Portishead. Fans of many different genres will find common ground in each song because of their effortless mixing of influences. Eatliz are also known for their eye-popping videos for songs such as “Attractive” and “Hey,” which feature a distinct style of animation. The video for “Hey” won the prestigious Spike Lee Award at 2009’s Tribeca Film Festival. Eatliz continues their string of memorable videos with the new clip for “Lose This Child,” directed by Yuval and Merav Nathan, whose video for “Her Morning Elegance” was nominated for the “Best Short Form Music Video” Grammy.

Electra knows how to combine strong melodies and rich, full sounds into its pop songs. They recall Rolling Stones-era garage rock coupled with Rockabily grooves and even ’60s soul in the vane of The Clash and Buzzcocks. The band’s first EP, Come Inside, was released in 2004. After touring the UK and Germany, Electra quickly gained a reputation for their high-energy performances and passionate delivery. After spending some time abroad, Electra signed to Anova last year. Their first two singles, “Coming to Get You!” and “Dawn of Summer,” were instant radio hits. 2011 will see the band bring its incendiary stage act to the US.
