On September 9th, 2008, mild-mannered Jason Drake as his alter ego Cassettes Won't Listen will release the “Freeze and Explode” extended single “Freeze and Explode” – called “[O]ne of the best sons that 2008 has produced” by Pop Matters -- first appeared on Cassettes Won't Listen's debut physical release, Small-Time Machine. To wet your appetite, he has released a promo-only remix by the Philadelphyinz on RCRD LBL. The Philadelphyinz are DJs and producers Skinny Friedman and Apt One who split their time between Philadelphia and New York.
