The Walkmen’s Recent You & Me Surprise Charity Release Has The Music World Buzzing

Last Week, The Walkmen released their new album You & Me with the proceeds going to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in honor of Luca Vasallo.

The Walkmen chose Sloan-Kettering because their friend Luca, who is seven-months-old, is battling AML leukemia. All donations will go to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Research Centers and The Joy Fund, which helps provide patients with different activities, entertainment and support.

The response from hundreds of music magazines and blogs has been overwhelming and unanimously positive, with many urging people not to steal the critically acclaimed new album.
