Nous Non Plus' "Loli" Video - http://vimeo.com/3002001
Pitchfork TV premiered the video saying, "The iconic sunglasses suggest French-language New York indie-rockers Nous Non Plus appear to have Stanley Kubrick's film version [of "Lolita"] in mind for their new "Loli" video...this solid single puts Strokes-esque vox, with French lyrics...over breezy, 1960s-tinged garage-pop. Meanwhile, the Greg Harrison-directed video gives us streamers, balloons, some nifty effects, and entendres aplenty involving a scantily clad young woman and her lecherous beau."
Menagerie builds on NNP's 60's French pop influences--mixing Moog synthesizers with string sections, horns with distorted guitars, and includes a cover of The Unicorns' song "Tuff Ghost." Their music has also recently been featured on Gossip Girl and in European mobile phone commercials.
