Free Blood to Paint the West Coast Blood Red

Brooklyn's Free Blood are ready to bust out of the city and head westward in 2009.  The group have planned a mini-tour of the west coast in January.  They also have an upcoming show in NYC and a mini-east coast tour is in the works for March.

Free Blood's first full-length, The Singles (Rong/DFA), is in stores now.  The duo seamlessly weave bits of noise, disco, post-punk, free-jazz, and anything else they get their paws on into highly addictive dance songs.  Their soulful male-female vocals are the cherry on top, providing hummable pop melodies to complement the constantly-evolving production.
