MATES OF STATE CONFIRM REMIX EP RELEASE, CO-HEADLINE TOUR WITH BLACK KIDS

Fresh off an appearance on ABC's Good Morning America and with Best of 2008 accolades having come in from NPR, Paste, KCRW and more, Mates of State are ready to kick off 2009 with two major announcements:

First, tickets go on sale this Saturday, January 17 for Mates of State's upcoming co-headline tour with Black Kids. The tour, which kicks off April 2 in Richmond VA, will feature Mates closing the show in all cities but Brooklyn, Boston, Los Angeles and the second San  
Francisco date.

Second, at a date TBD this spring, Mates of State will release  Re-Arranged:  Remixes Vol. 1 (Barsuk) digitally and on 12" vinyl. The first in a series of Mates remix EPs, Re-Arranged:  Remixes Vol. 1 will feature the following reinterpretations of tracks from Re-Arrange Us:

2. Now (RAC Remix)
3. Help Help (DJ Sega Philly Club ReMix)
4. The Re-Arranger (Flosstradamus Remix)
