Chapter Four of ‘The Adventures of Kid Catastrophe' finally allows the viewer a glimpse into the true heart of our hero. And, wouldn't you know? It's gold. Check thehomepage of imeem this week for an exclusive look at the video. 

As in previous months, this Chapter of the short film is accompanied with a 3-song EP. Chapter 4's Single ‘Missing Piece' is an aching ballad that takes aim at your heart, intent on obliterating it into a million pieces. It represents a departure for Illinois as our normally bleary-eyed hero strikes an earnest chord. A piano-driven track, the listless slacker delivery of ‘Hang On' is now full of bloodletting sincerity. You can download ‘Missing Piece' for free today at CMJ.com. ‘The Adventures of Kid Catastrophe' Deluxe Edition Set for Cinco de Mayo Release

 

Illinois will be releasing ‘The Adventures of Kid Catastrophe' Deluxe Edition on May 5th. The bundle will include all 18 songs and 6 film chapters of this six-month undertaking, plus 2 bonus songs and 2 bonus video chapters. So, in all, that's 20 songs, and 8 video chapters, in digital form. It will also include a digi-booklet of the artwork that has accompanied each chapter of the campaign.

Physical copies of the Kid Catastrophe project are via custom USB flash drive for $10. Chapters 1 through 4 will be pre-loaded, with subsequent chapters available FREE at download stations set up at any of the band's record release shows.

Speaking of which, Illinois resumes their record release residency of the East Coast on February 3rd (remaining dates below). We are also pleased to announce that they will be playing at SXSW, after which they will do a stint on the West Coast with palsKenan Bell, before routing back east.
